Dates of Army-2019 Forum Released

The forum will preserve the traditional six-day format. The first day will be a private exhibition for official participants and representatives of state customers. June 19-20 will be assigned for expert work. Since Friday, June 21, the forum will be open for public visiting.


The events in the military commands under the auspices of the Army-2019 forum will take place in June 21-23.

The defense ministry’s decision to arrange the Army forum in June puts at stake the scale of the International Maritime Defense Show in Saint Petersburg. This exhibition is scheduled in June 26-30, 2019. A source from the Ministry of Industry and Trade expressed concern to Mil.Press Today that many naval manufacturers would have to choose one of the two events.

The issue of the timelines of the National Security Week still remains unsettled as well. It is the joint exhibition of all Russian security agencies. In 2018, it was combined with the Army forum and planned to be held as a separate event in 2019.

The Army-2018 forum was held in August 21-28 and hosted about 1,200 Russian and international companies presenting over 18,000 showpieces. In Army Forum section, the editorial staff of Mil.Press had gathered over 100 news from the main national military show.
