Remdiesel (Naberezhnye Chelny, Russia) has updated the whole family of armored vehicles presented at the last year’s forum Army-2017. Designed for special troops, Typhoon-VDV rover became a basis for a simplified hull-designed version for other military branches. Designers applied the chassis of framed K-53949 vehicle for Cornet antitank missile system, and created Linza rover for evacuation of injured personnel. Igor Zarakhovich, head designer at Remdiesel told Mil.Press Today about specific features of the hardware.
