Upcoming Army-2019 Forum to Host 120 Business Activities

Sponsors of the Army-2019 forum announced the business and scientific program of the exhibition. It includes 120 activities. Most of them will be held between the second and the fifth days of the forum.

A representative of the Russian State Research & Test Institute of Military Medicine arranging the panel discussion "Military Medicine and Robotics: Development Prospects" told about its objectives. "We’re going to discuss current and future technologies in medical robotics, to identify conceptual development trends in this industry. And, of course, we want to share best practices with leading organizations and establish new contacts", said the expert.

An employee of the Saint Petersburg Electrotechnical University in charge for the topic discussion "Materials & Electronic Components for Extreme Operating Conditions" said it was planned to compile two lists based upon results of the meeting. The first one is a list of technologies ensuring import independency in development of materials and component base of extreme electronics and photonics with earlier unobtainable performance characteristics. The second list is to deal with the critical issues related to creation of material, technology and testing base for extreme electronic components.

Academic secretary of the Ministry of Education & Science, Oleg Samovarov, told Mil.Press Today about the reasons for the round table named "System Programming: Key Countermeasure for Cyber Threats".
"Eventually, we want to draw up recommendations for development in Russia new and advanced design tools of trusted software. It is aimed at minimization of security threats related to hardware defects and vulnerabilities", Samovarov explained.
Among the business program events, it is planned to hold 87 round tables, 19 conferences, 5 sessions, 2 briefings, 2 business games, 2 training lectures, a quiz, a trivia game, and an activity without certain organizational form.
