During the first six months of 2026, Russia concluded export contracts for the supply of weapons and military equipment worth over $13 billion, Rosoboronexport CEO Alexander Mikheyev told reporters on the eve of the El Alamein International Airshow 2026 in Egypt.
"This amount corresponds to the figure for the entire year of 2025," Interfax quoted him as saying.
The head of Rosoboronexport added that the largest share of contracts concluded in 2026 is for Air Force products, with air defence equipment in second place.
Mikheyev stressed that the fulfilment of these contracts will not affect the work of defence industry enterprises on the state defence order.
"More than 90% of the items contracted by Rosoboronexport in 2026 have taken part in combat operations against modern weapons and military equipment of Western manufacturers. The performance demonstrated in real‑world conditions significantly influenced the final decisions of customers to conclude contracts," he noted.
