The 10th International Maritime Defense Show took place in June 23-27 at Expoforum Congress & Exhibition Hall in St. Petersburg. Over 20 events, including 4 scientific conferences, were held under the business program of the exhibition. The Russian Navy ships were presented to the attendants and the delegations at the piers of St. Petersburg Seaport Passenger Terminal at Vasilyevsky Island (The Waterfront).

Microarc oxidation (MAO) is an advanced technology that has become an alternative to anodizing in instrument engineering and machine building industries. Its introduction in defense industry is led by MANEL (Tomsk, Russia). At the International Maritime Defense Show 2021, the company’s director general Pavel Butyagin told about the inclusion of MAO into design documentation for military-use products and advantages of the said technology over the traditional coatings.
